Prof. Dr. rer. medic.
Oliver S. Lazar
My name is Oliver S. Lazar, I was born in 1974 and come from Essen in the Ruhr area/ Germany. After my civilian service in 1995, I first studied human medicine until the first state examination at the University of Essen and then computer science at the Technical University in Dortmund, graduating in 2005 with a degree in computer science. The first professional station after my studies led me to Zell am See in Austria, where I was in charge of the IT department of the general public hospital Zell am See for more than two years until autumn 2007. After returning to the Ruhr area, I worked on my dissertation with the topic „Effects on the sympathetic nervous system with combination therapies in the treatment of patients with hypertension“ in the Department of Nephrology at the University Hospital Essen. In 2008, I finally received my doctorate in the natural sciences of medicine from the medical faculty of the University of Duisburg-Essen.
Until 2011, I gained profound experience in applied research as a scientist and project manager at the Fraunhofer Institute for Microelectronic Circuits and Systems (IMS) in Duisburg through various BMBF-funded research projects. Since 2012, I have been a professor of computer science at the FOM university for applied sciences in Düsseldorf (one of Germany’s largest private universities).
After the tragic accidental death of a classmate of my then 13-year-old daughter in 2017, I underwent a complete life change combined with profound personal spiritual experiences that opened the door to a much larger world. As a result, I began to view and understand the world holistically, completely detached from worldviews. As part of this change, I completed the medial training with my spiritual teacher Bettina-Suvi Rode in Essen from 2019 to 2020. Together with her I also designed the EREAMS study.
